Bestdent's standard high-speed range is its largest handpiece line: 32 air turbines whose listings name no light source. The models differ in head, chuck, coupling and water spray, so the model number identifies the exact build.
Head and chuck
- Standard head: 201A1, 201A3, 201B3, 201B4, 201E6.
- Mini head: 201B1, 201B2.
- Torque head: 201A5, 201A6, and 201D3 (pink) and 201D4 (blue).
- 45° angled head: 201C6, 201C7.
- Chuck: most models have a push-button chuck; 201A1, 201A2, 201A7 and 201A8 have what Bestdent calls a needle-type chuck.
Coupling and spray
- 2-hole: 201A1, 201A3, 201A5, 201A7, 201B1, 201B3.
- 4-hole: 201A2, 201A4, 201A8, 201B2, 201B4, 201C2, 201C4; 201C3 is listed for 2-hole or 4-hole.
- Quick coupler: 201E6.
- Spray: single spray on 201A4, 201C1 and 201C5; triple spray on 201D1 and 201D2; 4-port spray on 201B1 and 201B3.
201C1 and 201C2 have an anti-backflow (anti-retraction) head. Ceramic bearings are listed for the 201E series and for 201C3, 201C4 and 201C7.
