G-ZnO is a zinc oxide-eugenol cement from Atlas Enta, supplied as a powder and a liquid. After placement it sets in the mouth in about two minutes.
Dentists use it as a temporary filling material, and as a base or liner beneath a permanent restorative material. In deep cavities it gives thermal insulation.
Atlas Enta describes the cement as antiseptic and anodyne (pain-relieving), and gives its pH as 7–8.
