The E-generator range is Bestdent's line of high-speed air turbines with a self-powered LED in the head; Bestdent calls the light source an E-generator. Ten models are listed. They share the light source and differ in head style, connection and chuck.
Choosing a model
- Mini head: 201F3, for a quick coupler.
- Torque head: 201F6 and 201F9, both for a quick coupler.
- 45° angled head: 201F10, and 201F11 with a 4-hole connection, listed for surgical use.
- Other models: 201F1, 201F2, 201F4, 201F7 and 201F8; the listings do not name a special head type.
Chuck and bearings
Where Bestdent publishes a specification table (201F7, 201F8, 201F10 and 201F11), the turbines have a push-button chuck and ceramic bearings; 201F4 is also listed with a push-button chuck. 201F7 takes ø 1.6 mm FG burs.
