SHT is the more translucent of Zirdent's two white zirconia discs. Zirdent gives a translucency of 46% and a flexural strength of 1000 MPa, compared with 43% and 1200 MPa for ST. The disc is uncoloured, so the technician controls the final shade with Zirdent's 16-shade or 26-shade colouring liquid system.
Indications
Zirdent lists anterior copings and 3-unit coping bridges, posterior full-contour crowns and 3-unit bridges, implant crowns, full-contour zirconia bridges of more than four units, and inlays.
Formats
SHT comes in 98 mm, 95 mm and 92 × 75 mm formats, from 10 to 25 mm thick.
