The Cmill-A5 Pro is Zirdent's five-axis simultaneous wet milling machine for the dental lab. It mills zirconia, glass ceramic, titanium-base alloy, preformed titanium blanks, PMMA and wax, with a 60,000 rpm spindle cooled by water and air.
Holders and tools
The fixture takes one 98 mm disc, four pre-milled abutments or four glass-ceramic blocks, and discs can be 10–25 mm thick. A 15-position magazine changes tools automatically, and Zirdent gives a positioning accuracy of 0.005 mm. The A-axis turns 360° and the B-axis tilts ±30°.
What it makes
Zirdent lists copings, crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, veneers, frameworks, abutments, bars, Malo bridges, partial removables and overpress work. Average milling times are 6–8 minutes for zirconia and 20–40 minutes for glass ceramic.
