3D Ultra is a multilayer zirconia disc set up for translucency rather than maximum strength. Zirdent gives 49–53% translucency and 600–800 MPa flexural strength, a balance that favours aesthetic, light-transmitting restorations.
Indications
Zirdent lists anterior copings, anterior full-contour crowns, 3-unit anterior bridges (on copings or full-contour), posterior full-contour crowns, inlays and veneers.
Formats
The disc is made from Sinocera® zirconia powder and is offered in 98 mm, 95 mm and 92 × 75 mm formats, 10–25 mm thick. Zirdent states that it works with its 16-shade and 26-shade colouring liquid systems.
